In most cases, we can have a qualified caregiver at your door within 60 minutes of your call. For planned transitions — like a hospital discharge — we can have care in place within 2 hours of confirmation. We operate 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays. There is no "off hours" with us.

Many of our clients use long-term care insurance, veterans' benefits (VA Aid & Attendance), and private pay. We are not a Medicare-certified agency, so standard Medicare does not cover routine home care. However, we work closely with families to help identify every coverage option available and provide documentation for insurance reimbursement claims.

Your assigned caregiver will arrive in Care on Demand attire, introduce themselves, and conduct a brief in-home assessment. They'll review any care instructions, familiarize themselves with the home environment, and prioritize the immediate needs of your loved one. There's no adjustment period — our caregivers are trained to establish calm and comfort from the very first moment.

Every caregiver undergoes a thorough multi-step screening process: federal and state background checks, reference verification, skills assessment, and an in-person interview. All staff are fully licensed, insured, and bonded. We do not use staffing pools — every caregiver is personally selected and continuously evaluated for quality of care.

Absolutely. We have no minimum hour or day requirements. Whether you need a single overnight shift after a hospital discharge, a few hours of respite care on the weekend, or ongoing daily support — we accommodate your exact schedule. Flexibility is core to what we offer.

Yes — this is one of our specialties. We coordinate directly with discharge planners, hospital social workers, and physicians to ensure a seamless transition home. We can meet your loved one at the hospital and accompany them home, setting up care before they even walk through the door.
